From the very start, The Summer Hope Foundation’s mission has been to support those who are working diligently to find a cure to stop cancer once and for all. Summer Hope’s very first donation was to the American Cancer Society in 2003. The American Cancer Society is the number one funding source for cancer research outside the federal government and have to date funded over forty-two researchers who have went on to become Nobel Laureates. To date Summer Hope has donated over $50,000 to American Cancer Society, and hope to continue to do so, as ACS continues to be at the forefront of the battle against cancer.

From a nationwide, major non-profit organization to a well-renowned and revered research facility right in our own backyard, Summer Hope proudly supports Cold Spring Harbor Labs on Long Island, as they continue to make strides against cancer, discovering new advances and innovation to help prevent, detect and one day cure cancer.

Additionally, Summer Hope has provided monetary support to The Avon Foundation, Memorial Sloan-Kettering and other research facilities totaling approximately $50,000 over the past nine years. The Cancer Research Fund is the solid ground on which Summer Hope was founded – and we plan to continue to support these, and other worthwhile, cancer research facilities until they one day, thankfully, put us out of work.
