• On September 22, 2011 the Summer Hope Foundation welcomed a record-setting 300 guests to the 9th Annual Summer Hope Benefit and raised an all-time high of $75,000 in support of our fight against cancer. We would like to thank our 2011 HOPE Honoree, David Flanz, for leading this year's charge, as well as the Summer Hope Foundation Board, Volunteers and Donors for making this success possible! • On September 14th, American’ Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge unveiled their new “Tree of Hope”. With 60 guest rooms, Hope Lodge NYC provides free accommodations and extensive support services to cancer patients and their caregivers and the Tree of Hope will support the significant annual expense of operating this unique home away from home. The Summer Hope Foundation was honored to donate to the Hope Lodge becoming one the first leaves on the Tree of Hope. For more information on Hope Lodge NYC click here!

• On Sunday, November 6th, two friends of Summer Hope will be running the NYC Marathon in honor of Fred’s Team. Fred’s Team is a non-profit organization that raises money for Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Please support Danny Herr and Patti Kelly in their fundraising!
